Jules Brenner (1917-1991), was a native of New York City, began his career as a painter and sculptor, but later, turned to jewelry-making as his main focus. Beginning in 1953, he had a store in Greenwich Village for which he created modernist pieces, mostly in silver. His pieces embody clean line and biomorphic forms.
