This beautiful Large Pounamu Toki by amazing carver, Dean Marjoribanks is a fine example of tāonga, which are objects of cultural and spiritual significance to Māori people.

Toki are adzes, traditionally used for woodworking, but they also hold symbolic meaning. They represent strength, determination, and resourcefulness, qualities that were essential for survival in pre-colonial New Zealand.
