Just under ¾” (0.72”) total height. Fully evolved form with cusped top and nubs to the shoulders. Raised edge enclosing a trefoil with sprouts at the vine terminals. Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
