A raw Blue Tourmaline (Indicolite) pendant, showing deep ocean-blue tones with natural vertical striations in its cylindrical formation. One of the rarest colours of Tourmaline, Blue Tourmaline is especially prized for its depth of colour and clarity.

Set in a 2.5 micron layer of 18k gold over solid .925 sterling silver, this piece uses a much thicker plating than standard gold jewellery. It offers a richer finish and is designed to last for years rather than months with proper care.

As with all plated jewellery, longevity will vary depending on wear, skin chemistry and exposure to moisture, perfumes and lotions. Over time, the gold layer will naturally soften and wear back, but a higher micron thickness ensures a slower, more even ageing process.
